Privacy Policy

We only collect personal information when you choose to give it to us:

• Price alerts. When you sign up to be notified about a gym's price changes, you give us your email address, your phone number, or both. A phone number is used only to text you those alerts.
• Contacting a gym. When you use the "contact this gym" form, you give us your name, email, and optionally your phone number and the days and times you'd prefer to visit.
• Price reports. When you report a price or a correction, you send us the pricing details you're reporting and, optionally, your email so we can follow up.
• Accounts. If you create an account, we collect your name and email, and either a password or your Google or Facebook sign-in (handled by our authentication provider). An account lets you save gyms, save searches, and submit equipment and amenity details.

Like most websites, we use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the site is used — things like which pages get visited and general device and browser information. This helps us fix problems and improve the site. We don't use this to build advertising profiles, and we don't sell it.

• To send the price alerts you asked for, by email and/or SMS.
• To act on a "contact this gym" request — our team uses your details to help connect you with that gym.
• To review price reports and keep the pricing and equipment data accurate.
• To run your account and the features tied to it (saved gyms, saved searches, contributions).
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.

You'll only receive text messages if you give us a phone number when signing up for price alerts. Message frequency varies with how often a gym's price changes. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. We don't sell or share your phone number for anyone else's marketing.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers. We use trusted vendors to run the site — for hosting and our database and login (Supabase), analytics, and sending email and text messages. They only handle your data to provide those services to us.
• Gym contact requests. When you ask us to connect you with a gym, the details you submit are used to reach out on your behalf and may be shared with that gym so they can follow up.
• Legal reasons. If the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our users or the service.

• Unsubscribe from alert emails using the link in any email.
• Reply STOP to any alert text to stop SMS.
• Ask us to access or delete your information, or close your account, any time by emailing [email protected].

We keep your information for as long as it's needed for the purpose you gave it — running your alerts, your account, or a contact request — and as long as we're required to for legal or record-keeping reasons. When it's no longer needed, we delete it.

GymPricing isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us at [email protected] and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
